Workshop 2016 – essential information

A second round of our successful workshop for small communities will be held from 14th to 19th June in Sebechleby village, Central Slovakia. More info about the place can be found here.

We invite not only participants, but also lectors from all Visegrad countries. People interested in workshop themes, but also willing to share their knowledge with others are welcomed. The ideas, best practices, lectures and outcomes will be summarized and the workshop outputs will be distributed online.

For the purposes of wide spreading, the communication language is English. A Slovak/Czech translation will be available for lectors who don’t speak English.

Main topics we would like to cover this year:

  • social sustainability of small communities
  • permaculture way of building a homestead
  • water conservation and management
  • alternative economy systems

The workshop program is continuosly updated and can be viewed here.

We can invite 4-5 participants from each V4 country and cover the program, accommodation, food and (partialy) transport expenses.
